poor january, nobody likes it - our day today

I'm kind of glad this month it's almost over, we still have three more months of winter to go but at least we're having a little bit more daylight and that's good, got to stay positive right?
We haven't done much lately due to this crazy polar vortex so I thought I document this kind of days in our life.
Today we had a greek yogurt-berries-spinach smoothie and waffles for breakfast. Lucas eats all kinds of fruits and veggies, he is a really good eater and that makes me happy.
Before lunch we went for a walk and everything looked so beautiful and white but it was too cold and windy so we had to head back home.
Then we went outside to the balcony to play with the snow, but again it was too cold so that did't last long either, bummer!
And last but not least when the husband got home from work we all went to spoil our appetite before dinner with donuts and hot chocolate beacuse you know, that's what you do on a winter day like this.
Good night!
